Clermont Greene

Multi Family Residential

sf

This through-block development of 74 units was designed with a reinforced concrete super-structure and has been described as An Oasis in Brooklyn. Twin building frontages, on Vanderbilt and Clermont Avenues, demark facades comprised of window wall, colored spandrel glass and metal panels. Overall building masses are also articulated by changes in height as well as by modulated changes to the rhythm of window openings along the façade.

An inner courtyard has been provided with a large reflecting pool and landscaped area. The first floor is raised seven feet from street level to increase privacy for the residential units and to create an envelope below grade for parking for 38 vehicles.
